Make it easier for people to pay you with a payments page. All you need is a PayPal account to take payments for your invoices online. With the current postal strikes making it very unreliable to wait for cheques to arrive, any way that you can make it easier for your customers to pay you will surely aid cashflow at a time when everyone seems to need it most.
Same day installation. Setup of the page is very simple and can be done quickly and cheaply with a little help from your Webinthebox franchisee. All the information you need to provide is the email address to which your PayPal account is linked. Once the page is set up, your customers can log in to it, enter the invoice number, amount, an optional reference, and click the button to go to PayPal's secure payments page where they can choose to pay via their own PayPal account if they have one, or use a credit or debit card. If you use images on your site and have a gallery, you might like to try one of the new gallery layouts available now. Imaginatively titled gallery 3 (has a strip of image category header images under the menu) and gallery 4 (no category images, better for sites with many categories), luckily the new look of the pages has changed more radically than the name. Simply put, the page now has less thumbnails than the original, snappily named gallery and gallery 2 pages, but has a medium sized image on view at all times.
Rolling over the thumbnail images, which are grouped in fives, changes the image in the central viewer area, while clicking on them opens the image into a new window as is always the case with Webinthebox® Galleries.
Something that has always been the same with our galleries, but is under used is the attachment of additional information to your image files. Categories, captions and up to 64K characters of text, all help you to provide information that your customers will need, and as the pages are all indexable, can really help with search engine performance too. Set up is really simple, just create a page with the name gallery3 or gallery4 from the drop down menu and Bob's your uncle.
When someone says something nice about your business and what it has done for them, it is worth its weight in gold to you. So why not show the rest of the world how much people like dealing with you. All you need is a few appropriate quotes and a testimonials page to put them on. What could be easier?
You can create a testimonials page on your site in minutes.
Simply go to the site content menu and choose content, then add page. Choose 'guestbook' from the drop down menu. Give the page a meaningful navigation name like 'Testimonials' or 'Customer Comments', click on submit and you are ready to start adding the comments. This is done through the response menu, where you choose guestbook. All you need to do is put in a name (Mrs X, Upminster will do), and what they have said about you. The output page automatically formats the quote to be in quote marks and italic text with the name underneath. There is also a very simple option that will select a number (you choose, 4 or 6 is usually good) of quotes from the database at random, so that the view is different each time the page loads. This is great when you have a large number of testimonials and you want to give a fresh view to returning visitors. Literally just a few minutes of your time can have your great customer comments being broadcast to the world.
